Chris Larkin, from Stroke association, introduced me to Charlotte a young, strong girl that had a stroke but thanks to her strength and the support of her family she was able to recover, start playing and enjoying life again.
Inspired by what happened to her younger sister, Megan wrote this story. My role was to bring it to life in a short animation, from storyboards to final result, while involving Megan in the process so that she could learn hands on how to do it herself in the future.
Her idea was that – Strokina (the baddy stroke) is chasing a group of people and traps them inside bubbles. Super C (Charlotte her sister the hero) manages to break out of the bubble and then helps by motivating other people to break out of their stroke bubbles.
Megan dreams of becoming a professional animator and I see a bright future ahead of her!
